The LL.M. (General) Program, offered in collaboration with the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies (UMSAILS), is a one-year postgraduate law degree that provides law graduates from South Asian countries the opportunity to pursue advanced legal studies with full or partial scholarships.
One year comprising of two semesters
Candidates must pass Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) and fulfill the requirements of University Grants Commission (UGC).
36 credits to attain the UMSAILS LLM Program degree.
Maximum 20 credits. Students must complete all courses within two semesters. Failed courses in the first semester can be retaken in the second semester. Special cases require Registrar's permission.
Two semesters (Fall and Spring) in an academic year.
